I’m a marketer and creative thinker living in Vancouver, BC.


I have four years of experience working in marketing, design, and events. My most recent role was Marketing and Operations Manager at The Merry Mill, an Irish startup in the food industry. I was promoted to this role following an internship with them.


I'm passionate about communicating a brand's story with its audience and building its online profile through e-commerce and social platforms.

Description:

Over 1 month, I worked on creating engaging content on social channels that educated and entertained the audience to build relationships while promoting products.


Goal:

To increase our social referral rate and create engaging top-of-the-funnel marketing content that helps our sales team start more conversations with prospects.


Metric:

Built customer confidence and educated them on the benefits of organic food. Account engagement increased by 50%.

Social referral rate increased to 1.79% of traffic.

Branding

Description:

Create a new design for the range of products, that appeals to new customers, creates competive advantage and highlights the companies values.


Goal:

To source and design new packaging material for four products in 6 months. Focus on eco-friendly packaging that is easily integrated into the manufacturing process.

Metric:

Redesigned four products in three months; worked with a graphic designer to recreate the look and feel of the brand. Sourced machinery for production. Launched online and at an event in June 2022.



Events

Description:

In 2022, we aimed to attend 5 events and gain national coverage for The Merry Mill. Creating an opportunity for customers to meet the makers, network with producers, and meet buyers.


Deliverable

To increase brand awareness and create premium marketing content. Liaise with event organizers, design stand and marketing collateral, social content, and PR.


Metric:

Attended 10 events. Secured 3 stands at the National Ploughing Championships, Ireland.

Approached by Stripe to create video promotion of Stripe integration in agricultural tech companies.

Description:

Over 6 month period, implement abandoned cart recovery email campaign. Analyze user behaviors for conversion funnel issues. Retarget potential customers with abandoned carts.


Goal:

To recover abandoned carts, re-engage potential customers, and help improve the user interface to minimize interference in the customer journey.


Metric:

24% of customers recovered abandoned carts after receiving an email.
